My mission as a teacher is to offer a place that is safe, fun, respectful, and meaningful to all students. Creating a positive environment in the classroom is the best way to gain all the intangible factors, such as trust and respect, which help maintain that environment throughout the year. Meaningful instruction is another intangible that is equally important. I want my students to feel like they are coming to school for a reason and believe that they have a future through education. A positive learning environment and meaningful instruction will open students’ minds and give them opportunities they never dreamed possible.
